Le Canot Rouge Stationary

We LOVE our new La Canot Rouge stationary, and for a rainy Monday mornings, we think "George August" is the perfect pick... read his story: 

George August loves strolling. And he especially loves strolling in the rain, on those old country roads with overgrown trees and wildberry bushes hugging close, looking ever more vibrant in the downpour. He habitually carries his favourite green umbrella - to prevent a full-on sousing - but always cants it just a little bit so he can catch a few sprinkles in his feathers. He finds it utterly invigorating!

In between showers, George can be found paddling around in Lake Erable, the perfect swimming spot. The shoreline is rocky, but the towering stands of white pine provide a gorgeous backdrop. Besides, the water is as sweet as syrup and it certainly doesn’t hurt that Portage Patisserie sits conveniently at its shore. Invariably joining him is every kit, pup, and gosling in town hoping for a swimming lesson. Always happy to oblige, fully aware that the company keeps him young at heart, George has unwittingly become the community’s favourite Camp Councellor.
